Page contents disappear when editing pages

When I edit a page, either by clicking on the "Edit" tab or directly on a page section, the contents of the page become invisible. How do I restore the proper behaviour of the editor?
This is a problem related to Kupu, the visual editor of Plone. Only administrators can fix this issue.
If this is your case, just go to Site Setup > Visual Editor > Config and click on the "Save" button without changing anything.
