How do I get my compiler supported by ABINIT?

Up to Table of Contents

I'm using a compiler which is currently unsupported by ABINIT. What do I need to do to get it supported?

Please send us the following information:

  • compiler vendor;
  • supported architectures;
  • how to get the version from the command-line (e.g. "f90 --version");
  • the complete and exact output of the command used to get the version, for as many architectures and versions as possible;
  • the optimization flags you would like to have for the safe, standard, and aggressive levels;
  • if necessary, the extra flags you need to use to have ABINIT correctly built;
  • if possible, the manual page of the compiler;
  • if possible, the preprocessing options defined by the compiler to identify itself.

If you don't know what this is all about, we recommend you to ask to your system administrator.
